Ductless mini-split

A heat pump that skips ductwork entirely: an outdoor unit connects by small refrigerant lines to one or more wall- or ceiling-mounted indoor 'heads,' each conditioning its own zone with its own remote or thermostat.

Why it matters for your home

Mini-splits solve the rooms central systems can't reach, bonus rooms over garages, finished attics, sunrooms, additions, and older homes without ducts. Each zone gets independent control, and cold-climate models heat through Missouri winters. The honest limit: past three or four heads, a ducted system often wins on price.
